Why the Name JNJ Matters
The name JNJ Plumbing was chosen in honor of someone who has had a lasting impact on our lives; someone whose strength, resilience, courage, humility, and unwavering spirit helped shape the foundation of what we’re building today.
He believed in us when it mattered most. He saw something in us before we fully saw it in ourselves, gave us opportunities that changed the course of our lives, and showed us what it means to lead with heart, character, and quiet strength.
His ongoing battle with ALS continues to be a powerful reminder of perseverance, perspective, and what it means to keep showing up with grace, determination, and purpose, even in the face of the
unimaginable.
Naming this company in his honor is our way of carrying that legacy forward and building something meaningful with it.
Built on Second Chances
Both of us have walked our own recovery journeys, and that experience has deeply shaped who we are, both personally and professionally. Recovery taught us the value of accountability, consistency, gratitude, humility, and perseverance. It taught us how to keep showing up, how to rebuild, and how to create something better than what came before. Those lessons are a big part of the foundation behind JNJ Plumbing and the way we strive to serve others.
Bo Schmidt – Owner & Master Plumber
Bo brings nearly a decade of hands-on plumbing experience, including residential and commercial service, repair, remodels, and new construction. As a Master Plumber, he brings the knowledge, skill, and professionalism it takes to do the job right and deliver work customers can trust.
He takes pride in providing honest service, quality workmanship, and dependable solutions that homeowners, businesses, and contractors can feel confident in.
Dana Gissal – Owner & Operations
Dana brings a strong background in customer service, finance, and operations, with experience in automotive finance management, banking and financial services, and trade-related administrative support.
She also brings valuable plumbing industry experience, along with a strong understanding of dispatching, scheduling, customer coordination, communication, and the day-to-day workflow that keeps jobs moving smoothly and customers informed every step of the way.
From the first call to the final invoice, Dana helps ensure every customer experience is handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
